At Go Bananas Early Learning Centres, we believe that not all childcare is created equal. After more than 20 years in the industry, we know what makes a truly exceptional early learning experience — and we’re proud to offer it every day.
We are the only Long Day Care centre in the St Marys area with our own bus fleet. This means we can offer exclusive educational excursions that simply aren’t available at other centres — real learning experiences beyond the classroom that inspire curiosity, broaden horizons, and give children something to talk about long after they get home.
Our key leaders have been with Go Bananas for over 15 years. In an industry where staff turnover is common, this continuity is rare and enormously valuable. Families and children work with the same trusted faces year after year — people who know your child’s name, their quirks, their strengths, and their story.
Our St Marys centre is deliberately set away from major roads and traffic emissions. Children spend their days in a cleaner, calmer, nature-rich environment that supports healthy development, outdoor learning, and genuine connection with the natural world — something increasingly rare in urban childcare settings.
We take safety seriously. Our centre is equipped with comprehensive security systems throughout — so parents can focus on their day with complete confidence that their child is safe, supervised, and cared for.
Our long-running bus network collects children from 15 local primary schools every day. For working families, this is a practical, reliable, and genuinely stress-reducing service that sets us apart from competitors who simply can’t match it.
Everything we do is grounded in the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Our programs are designed to follow each child’s interests and developmental stage — not a one-size-fits-all curriculum. We believe children learn best when they’re engaged, curious, and enjoying themselves.
We are part of the Mesabo group of childcare services — a family-owned organisation with genuine community roots. We are not a national franchise focused on shareholder returns. Our focus is on the children and families we serve, and that difference shows in everything we do.
We have been a proud major sponsor of St Marys Junior Rugby League for over 15 years. We believe investing in our community is just as important as investing in our classrooms. It’s one of the reasons local families trust us — they know we’re here for the long term.
Every educator at Go Bananas holds a current Working With Children check and meets or exceeds National Quality Framework qualification requirements. We invest continuously in professional development, because we know the quality of our people is the quality of your child’s experience.
We are assessed under the National Quality Standard across all seven quality areas. We don’t just meet the minimum — we actively work to exceed it, because that’s what your family deserves.

Book a TourGo Bananas opens at 6:30am and closes at 6:30pm — earlier and later than every other childcare centre in the St Marys area. Local competitors typically open at 7:00am and close at 6:00pm. That extra hour of care each day means working parents with early starts or late finishes always have reliable, quality childcare. We’re here when you need us most.
Every meal at Go Bananas is prepared fresh on-site by our qualified chefs — not delivered by a catering company, not reheated from frozen. Children enjoy five freshly cooked meals and snacks every day: breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and an after-school snack. We use fresh produce prepared daily, and everything is included in your fees. When you ask your child what they had for lunch, the answer is always something real, made with care.
